When are the interviews taking place?
The interviews are being held on Wednesday 26 November and Thursday 27 November between 11:00am and 5:00pm at Luna Park.

Where are the interviews being held?
At Luna Park. Simply walk through the entry face and follow the signs to Big Top Foyer 2.

Do I need to book an interview time?
No. Simply show up any time between 11:00am and 5:00pm on either day.

The interview process will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours after you arrive.

How do I get to Luna Park?
Luna Park is easy to get to. Simply:
- Catch the train to Milsons Point station and walk down the hill, or;
- Get a ferry from Circular Quay to Milsons Point Wharf, or;
- Drive to Luna Park, 1 Olympic Drive Milsons Point. There is a parking station located at Luna Park, entry via Paul Street.

What do I need to bring on the day?
- Photo identification. A drivers license or passport is sufficient. You need to bring the original and a copy to submit with your application.
- If you are not an Australian resident; you must bring a copy of your Work Visa / permit otherwise you will not be interviewed.
- A copy of your resume.
- A copy of your RSA Certificate (if you have one)
- Your personality! We’re looking for larger than life, customer orientated people with good communication skills who love to go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure each and every customer has a fantastic experience at Luna Park, so bring your personality with you!

Do I have to be available every night and every weekend?
Generally, yes. However if you need a day (or night) off for some reason, this can be arranged in advance. You must be available to work at least 4 shifts per week between mid December and the end of January 2009. You will be required to work a shift of 4-8 hours between 10am and midnight.

How much do I get paid?
This will depend on the position you are hired for. All employees will be engaged under the Luna Park Services Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2007. The starting rate for most entry level positions for anyone over the age of 18 years is $16.90 per hour plus superannuation. There is an opportunity for bonus payments if you can commit to a set 7 week roster and work on New Years Eve/Day.

Do I get free rides if I work for Luna Park?
Yes. You are able to enjoy the rides for free when you work at Luna Park. We also offer our staff 40% off food, beverages and merchandise in the Park and 20% off food and beverages at The Deck and Sonar.

What positions are available?
These positions are available:
- Rides Operations Hosts
Round and round, some fast, some upside down – you name it, our rides do it! You will assist in the safe and efficient operation of our rides and attractions, and ensure all Guests have a safe, enjoyable and FUN experience. No previous experience is necessary. Must be 18 years or older.
- Sideshow Games Hosts
Be a spruiker in Sideshow alley! Laugh and create memories for our Guests while they enjoy our classic sideshow games. You will be required to use a microphone and encourage customers to play.
- Guest Relations Hosts and Ticket Sellers
Welcome our Guests to the Park and assist by providing information on products and services on offer.
- Food and Beverage Hosts
Serving up everything from delicious fun park favourites including juicy hamburgers to cakes, coffees and salads. You will assist in the efficient operation of our take away and cafeteria outlets in the park.
- Merchandising Hosts
A trip to Luna Park isn’t complete without a souvenir. You’ll be selling everything from on-ride photos to balloons, toys and ice creams.
- Brasserie Wait and Bar Professionals
Waiters with experience in a restaurant / bar environment are required for our gorgeous new harbourside brasserie. Must have an RSA certificate and 2 years relevant experience.
- Wardrobe Host
Serve our Team with a smile! You will be responsible for dressing our Park Team and ensuring they're ready to present our Park with pizzazz!

Important Requirements…
- A strong command of the English language is essential. You must be able to speak and understand both written and verbal instructions in English.
- You must also have permission to work in Australia. We will not interview any persons who do not have permission to work in Australia.
- All applicants will be subject to a Working With Children Check
